Coaching & Mentoring

Leadership starts with yourself

Through coaching and mentoring, I help leaders build inner clarity, handle challenges with composure, and develop leadership grounded in their values.

What I offer

Tailored programs that meet you exactly where you are in your leadership

Coaching

A confidential space where you can explore your own solutions and perspectives. Through active listening and reflective questions, I help you:

  • Gain clarity about your goals and values
  • Overcome obstacles
  • Make decisions with greater confidence
  • Develop your leadership identity

Mentoring

Sharing experience and concrete guidance based on my 20+ years of leadership experience. I can help you with:

  • Change management and transformation
  • People management and team development
  • Product development and strategic thinking
  • Navigating complex organizations

Forløb

I work in programs tailored to each individual leader and the context you're in. We start with an initial conversation where we clarify needs, central themes, and the direction you want to move in.

The program is then designed with focus on:

  • Your development and career goals
  • Your current leadership challenges – concrete situations, decisions, and relationships
  • Integration in practice – how insights translate into action in your daily life
  • Ongoing adjustment – focus and pace adapted as we go

Duration and frequency agreed individually.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a creative and thought-provoking dialogue form where a coach helps a person unlock their potential through a partnership. Coaching differs from therapy in being future-oriented and takes its starting point in the person's own goals with a focus on translating insight into action.

Coaching can particularly help you with:

Change

When you are facing or in the midst of personal or organizational changes

Busyness and pressure

If you feel overwhelmed, pressured, or stressed

Motivation

When you need to motivate yourself or your employees

Career considerations

When you want to change track and explore your career path

Major life decisions

When you need perspective, clarify your values, and think creatively

Leadership development

To develop your role and take leadership in your own way

How does it work?

As a coach, I offer a space where you can work on what is most important to you. In coaching, you are the expert and it is my role to guide you to find the solution that is right for you by listening, asking questions, and challenging you. You choose the focus of the conversation and what we discuss is confidential.

Format

A coaching session lasts about 1 hour. We typically start by checking in on where you are in relation to your overall goal. Then we address the topic you want to focus on and agree on what you want to get out of today's session.

How will you be met?

I work based on ICF ethical guidelines and core competencies. This means complete confidentiality, a clear framework, and that I am fully present. I have deep respect and belief that you can succeed with what you set out to do, and you can expect my support and acknowledgment of what is difficult.

What can you expect to achieve?

After a session, you will have greater clarity about your goals, as well as new perspectives, strategies, and plans for how to move forward. Often also translated into a concrete plan. You will experience heightened awareness that can help you remain grounded, confident, and courageous.

What is mentoring?

Mentoring is a relationship where I as a mentor share my experience, perspectives, and learning with you. Unlike coaching, where you find your own answers, mentoring offers concrete guidance and insights from my 20+ years of practice as a leader.

What characterizes mentoring?

Sharing experience

I bring my knowledge and experiences into play and share concrete perspectives from my leadership work

Two-way process

Both mentor and mentee learn and develop through the process. It is an active dialogue, not a one-way instruction

Focus on development

The purpose is to accelerate your professional and personal growth through reflection and new perspectives

Confidentiality

The relationship is always confidential and does not replace your manager. It is a safe space for open dialogue

Different mentor roles

As a mentor, I take on different roles depending on your needs in the specific situation:

Knowledge sharer

Shares professional knowledge when relevant

Discussion partner

Challenges and asks questions that provide new perspectives

Door opener

Expands your network and opens new opportunities

Advisor

Provides concrete expert advice based on experience

Coach

Asks reflective questions that promote insight

Storyteller

Shares stories and cases for inspiration

The difference between coaching and mentoring

Coaching

  • → You find your own answers
  • → I ask questions and listen
  • → Focus on your process
  • → Future-oriented

Mentoring

  • → I share my experience
  • → Concrete guidance and advice
  • → Focus on learning from practice
  • → Development-oriented

In practice, I often combine both approaches, depending on what provides the most value for you in the specific situation.

How it works

A simple process that starts with a no-obligation conversation

1

Introductory conversation

We talk about your needs and find out if we are the right match. Completely non-binding.

2

Planning

We agree on focus, format, and frequency for the sessions. You determine the direction.

3

The program begins

Online sessions via Zoom or Teams. Confidential, flexible, and targeted to your needs.

4

Ongoing development

We evaluate and adjust along the way. You can choose to continue or conclude when it makes sense.
